JAWS & Mrs. Shaw takes place on Martha's Vineyard during one tumultuous week in the filming of JAWS - the chaotic but ultimately triumphant week when Robert Shaw's mother visited the set and helped Robert turn the movie from a disaster into a classic.
Robert was acutely embarrassed when Mrs. Shaw criticized him in front of his colleagues, but what was even worse were the secrets she revealed about their family's past.
